All Cotton Sleep mattresses are backed by the warranty terms outlined below. To maximize your mattress lifespan and ensure warranty coverage remains valid, please follow these essential guidelines:

* Regularly rotate your mattress to promote even wear
* Never stand, jump, or place excessive weight on your mattress
* Use a waterproof mattress protector to prevent staining and contamination

Covered Under Warranty

1. **Body Impressions:** Visible indentations measuring 1.5 inches or deeper that appear when no weight is applied to the mattress surface. For our ultra-plush pillow-top models, covered impressions must measure 2 inches or deeper.

2. **Structural Failures:** Any splits or cracks in the latex or foam components when used under normal conditions and with proper handling.

3. **Cover Defects:** Manufacturing defects in mattress covers including fabric tears or stitching failures not caused by improper use.

4. **Dimensional Discrepancies:** Size variations exceeding 2 inches in length or width measurements after 30 days of regular use (must be reported during trial period).

Not Covered Under Warranty

1. **Normal Wear:** Expected softening of materials, normal body impressions under 1.5 inches (or 2 inches for pillow-top models), or general wear patterns from regular use.

2. **Comfort Preferences:** Personal comfort preferences are subjective and not considered manufacturing defects. Comfort descriptions serve as guidelines only.

3. **Environmental Issues:** Damage from improper ventilation, exposure to moisture, mold development, odors, or discoloration.

4. **Support-Related Issues:** Damage resulting from inadequate foundations, frames, or support systems.

5. **Cosmetic Imperfections:** Minor surface irregularities, slight unevenness, or cosmetic variations that don't impact functionality.

6. **User-Caused Damage:** Stains, tears, burns, soiling, or damage from improper handling or care.

**Standard Collection Models**
* 10-Year Full, Non-Prorated Coverage

**Premium Collection Models**
* 15-Year Full, Non-Prorated Coverage

**Entry-Level Organic Models**
* 10-Year Full, Non-Prorated Coverage

**Luxury Organic Models**
* 25-Year Limited Coverage:
  - Years 1-10: Full, Non-Prorated Coverage
  - Years 11-25: Prorated Coverage Structure:
    * Year 11: 50% of original price as replacement charge
    * Years 12-20: Additional 5% increase per year (55% in year 12, 60% in year 13, etc.)
    * Years 21-25: 95% of original price as replacement charge

Making a Warranty Claim

If you believe your Cotton Sleep mattress has a defect covered under this warranty, please contact our customer service department with:
* Your original purchase information
* Detailed description of the defect
* Photos clearly showing the issue
* Proof of proper foundation/support system if requested

Replacement mattresses are covered by the remaining warranty period of the original purchase.

Warranty Voidance Conditions

Your warranty will be void if the mattress:
* Has been stained, soiled, or contaminated
* Has been used with an inadequate foundation or support system
* Shows evidence of abuse, misuse, or improper care
* Has had its law tag removed
* Was purchased from an unauthorized retailer
