Family-Owned Mattress Factory
We are a proud family-owned local mattress factory with decades of combined experience. Our knowledge, craftsmanship, and values have been passed down through generations — ensuring every mattress is made with care, trust, and long-standing expertise.
As a family business, we take a hands-on approach to every step of production. From selecting safe, high-quality materials to carefully inspecting each finished product, we treat every mattress as if it were made for our own home.
Our long history in the industry has helped us build strong traditions, a loyal team, and a deep understanding of what truly makes a mattress comfortable and durable. This personal commitment is what sets us apart and gives our customers confidence that they are choosing a brand built on honesty, reliability, and genuine family values.

Understanding Our Cotton Sleep Approach to Materials and Safety
Our Commitment to Transparency
At Cotton Sleep, we believe in clear communication about our products. Terms like “non-toxic” or “toxin-free” are widespread in marketing but require context. Every substance, even natural ones like fruits, contains trace amounts of substances that could be harmful in excessive quantities. That’s why when we use terms like “non-toxic,” we’re specifically referring to compliance with established certification standards and our comprehensive internal research.
We intentionally avoid misleading terminology such as “chemical-free” (everything is composed of chemicals) or absolute claims like “100% non-toxic.” Instead, we provide accurate descriptions like “Our mattresses meet organic and non-toxic standards according to GOTS certification.” Our claims align with the requirements set by independent third-party certifiers who have no financial ties to Cotton Sleep.
Cotton Sleep’s Material Selection Philosophy
Our approach to creating better sleep products follows several core principles:
Prioritizing Natural and Organic Components
We favor materials like organic cotton and wool that have coexisted with humans for centuries. This natural approach minimizes exposure to synthetic chemicals, though we do utilize certain synthetic materials when necessary and approved by certification standards.
Reducing Chemical Emissions
Cotton Sleep deliberately avoids materials that release concerning chemicals into your sleep environment. This stands in contrast to conventional mattress manufacturing, which has historically relied on:
- Flame retardants
- Industrial adhesives
- Phthalates
- Polyurethane foam
- PFAS
- Volatile organic compounds
Embracing Independent Verification
We rely on rigorous third-party certification systems that provide unbiased analysis, actual testing data, and supply chain evaluation. This external validation strengthens our material selection process.
Cotton Sleep’s Certification Standards
Our commitment to healthier sleep products is verified through respected certifications:
- Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)
- Global Organic Latex Standard (GOLS)
- OEKO-TEX Standard
Why GOTS Certification Matters
- Examines the entire supply chain for all materials in a certified product
- Employs inspectors who physically verify manufacturing practices
- Balances environmental sustainability with human health considerations
- Permits limited synthetic materials under strict guidelines
